Is the filter environmentally safe?
Yes! The SHREDDER Filters are 100% environmentally safe. Unlike chemical or biological products that try to control zebra mussel infestation, our filters do not harm the environment and are not limited by environmental regulations.
How do you know when the filter needs to be cleaned?
For jet pumps, a vacuum gauge can be uses. For submersible pumps, you can time the fill rate of the pressure tank.
How long does the filter last before I have to clean or replace it?
If properly installed, Primar Filtration recommends the filter be cleaned or replaced annually.
